Regulations Governing The Award Of The Degree Of Doctor Of Pharmacy (PHARM. D.)

This is to inform all candidates admitted into the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences that as part of the new regulations governing the award of Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), a Consent Form has been developed and introduced which all fresh candidates are to fill as appropriate at the point of registration.

 

Find attached the Consent Form 1 for acceptance of offer of admission into the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Doctor of Pharmacy program. The detailed regulations governing the award of the Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy are also attached.

Application For Admission Into Diploma In Music Education 2019/2020 Academic Session

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka hereby invites applications from interested candidates for admission into Diploma in Music Education for 2019/2020 academic session.

Registration

  1. Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of five thousand naira (N5, 000.00) through remita platform at any Commercial Bank.
  2. Registration commences on October 28, 2019 and ends on November 22, 2019 while audition test will be conducted on November 25, 2019.

Procedure:

  1. a) Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or our portal (unnportal.edu.ng) log in your phone number to generate and download a payment invoice which contains a remita number, the invoice will enable you to make payment at any Commercial Bank.
  2. b) With the payment invoice the candidate is requested to pay five thousand (N5, 000.00) naira application fee. Ensure that the invoice number is keyed in appropriately at the Bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing your confirmation number and invoice number.
  3. c) Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or (unnportal.edu.ng) again and login your phone number to confirmation number and invoice number then access and complete the Diploma form on-line.

3rd Advanced Ph.D./Research Paper Writing Workshop, 2019

3RD ADVANCED Ph.D./ RESEARCH PAPER WRITING WORKSHOP, 2019

As part of the University’s effort to encourage and support students who are at the writing stage of their theses and want to get papers published in Journals listed in ISI Web of Science [Thomson Reuters) and Scopus, the School of Postgraduate Studies of the University of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Demography and Population Studies Programme, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and JECedit SE Lund, Sweden will be organizing the 3rd  edition of a three-day Advanced PhD/Research Paper writing workshop for  Staff/ PhD students at the writing stage of their theses.

During the workshop, Staff/Ph.D. students, who are writing up their theses or would want to extract papers from their theses, will focus exclusively on writing skills and publication processes. Experienced discipline-based facilitators will be available to guide the students and review write-ups to be produced by the participants.

Date: October 16-18, 2019 (Nsukka Campus); October 22-24, 2019 (Enugu Campus)

Potential Outcomes: Completion of Ph.D. Thesis; Translating Ph.D. theses to publishable manuscripts; preparing for Special Journal Volumes and Publishing of completed manuscripts in credible Journals.

This is to bring to the notice of all fresh postgraduate students admitted in the 2018/2019 academic session that the School of Postgraduate Studies is organizing an orientation programme for all fresh postgraduate students admitted in the 2018/2019 academic session into departments in both Nsukka and Enugu Campuses of the University.

 

This is in line with the vision of the current University Administration to reposition the postgraduate programmes for global competitiveness through timeliness, excellence and ethical conduct. The orientation programme is a proactive enlightenment effort to acquaint the students with necessary procedures and regulations and motivate them onto high level performances that will minimize cases of delayed graduation, failures and other mistakes that could arise from ignorance.
