MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT:     POSTPONEMENT OF 46^TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY

The 46^th Matriculation Ceremony of the University of Nigeria earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 28, 2020 has been postponed. This is due to the measures put in place for the containment of Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic and the closure of higher institutions in the country by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Consequently, all stakeholders of the University are advised to maintain safe distance compliance level, ensure adequate hygiene including constant washing of hands and frequent use of hand sanitizers.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

 Youth Friendly Resource Centre, University of Nigeria, Nsukka is currently accepting applications from volunteers currently residing in Nsukka Campus to fill in the following vacancies. Volunteers are encouraged to send their application in the following areas:

1) Event Management (Usher/Protocol /Social Media Networks)

2) Capacity Building Training (Leadership, ICT, Entrepreneurship, Proposal/Business Plan)

3) Skills Acquisitions

4) Inventors/Innovators

5) Youth Facilitators (HIV/AIDs, Sex Education, Sexual Harassment etc.)

Profiles for Volunteers

• Demonstrates team-work spirit
• Good Attention to Instructions
• Time Management and Coordination skills
• Deadline-Oriented, strong Internal Communications, and  Reporting Skills
• Willingness and ability to learn
• Strong inter-personal communication and ICT skills
• Willingness to work as a team. 

Experience and Qualification

• Undergraduate students in any field.
• Evidence of payment of school fees
• At least 0 – 3 years cognate experience.
• Between 16 -30 years
