Tuesday, 19th November, 2019:
- Arrival (from 9am)
- All seated at Princess Alexandra Auditorium and Unity Hall – 11.30am
- Introduction of guests and dignitaries and other protocols
- Arts Festival: Art Exhibitions (by Fine & Applied Arts students), Spoken Word Poetry Renditions (by English & Literary Studies students), Cultural Dances/Displays (by Linguistics, Igbo, and other Nigerian languages students) – 12.30pm-3pm.
- Announcement of prize winners of best renditions – 3.30pm
- Refreshments – 4pm
- Drama performance by Theatre & Film Studies students – 7pm.
Wednesday, 20th November, 2019:
- All seated at PAA – 9am
- Arrival of Chairman of the Conference, Emperor Baewood Chris Ibe – 10am
- Courtesy call on Vice-chancellor, Prof Charles Igwe and brief meeting with the University Administrators and Principal Officers – 10.30am
- Procession to PAA – 11.00am
- The National Anthem & University of Nigeria Anthem by the Department of Music
- Introduction of Chairman of the conference, Emperor Baewood Chris Ibe and his entourage other dignitaries present as well as other protocols – 11.30am
- Vice-chancellor’s opening remarks
- Citation on the Chairman of the Conference, Emperor Baewood Chris Ibe
- Chairman’s Opening Remarks
- Citation on the Keynote Speaker, Prof Joe Mokwunyei
- Keynote address
- Performance by the Department of Music (5 minutes)
- Introduction of Lead Paper Presenter, Prof Damian Opata
- Lead Paper presentation
- Performance by groups of students of the Faculty of Arts (10 minutes)
- Question and Answer sessions (10 minutes)
- Closing remarks and appreciation notes by the Head of Department of Music
