Biography :

My name is INNOCENT CHINWENDU AGWARA and was born on 14th July 1952 at Umuire, Umuahia. I am married with three children.

I had my First School Leaving Certificate at Orieamaenyi Central School in Ohuhu Umuahia in 1963; West African School Certificate at Williams Memorial Grammar School Afugiri, Umuahia in 1871; National Diploma in Marketing at Federal Polytechnic, Idah in 1984. I also had my B.Ed (Adult Education) in 1966; Post Graduate Diploma in PALG 1998 Masters in Education (Educational Planning and Administration) in 2004, all at University of Nigeria.

I started work here in the University as clerk grade II in 1974 and reached the rank/position of Chief Executive Officer in 2007 at Institute of Education, on salary HATISS 13. I was converted to Academic Staff as Assistant Lecturer in 2009 in the Department of Educational Foundations with my salary as Chief Executive Officer being personal to me.

I was promoted last to the rank of Lecturer I in 2013.
