Emmanuel O. Nwosu is a lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where he obtained his bachelor’s degree (with first class honours), his master’s degree and PhD. He also obtained MA degree in Economic Policy Management from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, under the Joint Japan/World Bank /AfDB Graduate Scholarship Programme.. He is a Research Fellow at the Center for Demographic and Allied Research, Economics Department, UNN. He is also a researcher in the following organisations where he has won a number of research grants: African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), Nairobi Kenya; Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) and the Center for Environmental Policy in Africa (CEEPA). He was a Visiting Scholar at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington D.C. in 2011. His areas of research interest include Development Economics (health economics, environmental economics, poverty, and income distribution), Monetary Economics, and Economic Policy.
