Biography :

Prof. Okoye Chukwuma Obiageli Benedict obtained a BSc (Hons) in chemistry from the University of Ibadan(1978), M.Sc in Analytical chemistry from University of Ibadan in (1982) and a PhD applied chemistry from Obafemi awolowo University, Ile-ife (1989). He started his academic career at the department of Chemistry, Federal University of technology, Akure (1982-1991). He joined the seravices of UNN in 1991 as a lecturer 1 and was appointed a professor in 2010, he was the head of Department of pure and industrial Chemistry (2007-2009).
