BREAKING NEWS: OPENING OF HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION PORTAL FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION

The opening of hostel accommodation portal for all first year students and sandwich students (all years) will be on Tuesday, 27th July, 2021 by 10am and will run until it finishes.

Subsequently, hostel accommodation portal for other years will be on Monday, 2nd August, 2021 by 10.am.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND DURATION:

 

UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA 4-YEAR DEGREE SANDWICH PROGRAMME

 

Candidates seeking for admission into the 4-year Degree programme must possess a minimum of NCE merit Pass in the relevant area from a recognized Institution in Nigeria, in addition to a minimum of five (5) credit level passes at the O’level including Mathematics and English Language or its equivalent at not more than two sittings. Or any National Diploma in addition to the above-mentioned O’level requirement.

 

UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA 5-YEAR DEGREE SANDWICH PROGRAMME

 

Candidates seeking for admission into the 5-year degree programme must possess the following:

  1. NCE Pass and a minimum of five (5) credits O’level Passes or its equivalent at not more than two sittings.

 

  1. Five (5) credit passes at the SSCE/O’level at not more than two (2) sittings which must include Mathematics and English or both as required by the respective programmes, or its equivalent.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

All candidates who wish to apply for these Programmes listed above should apply through JAMB State Office and make University of Nigeria, Nsukka as their first choice Institution. This would enable JAMB to capture the details of the candidates, assign them registration numbers and make them available in JAMB CAPS for the University to be able to download their lists.

 

Afterthe JAMB registration, candidate returns to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Portal/Website and generate “Sandwich Registration Invoice” and proceed to any Commercial Bank and pay the processing fee of N5,000.00 (Five thousand Naira only) for the 4-year programme and N10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira only) for the 5-year programme respectively. (traildusttown.com) The processing fee is payable to the University’s Account with details below:

After the payment, candidate returns to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Portal and click on Sandwich Registration and Complete the Verification Form On-line; and thereafter print out the completed Registration Form and submit it with Academic Credentials to the Sandwich and Evening Programmes Unit Office.

Please note that candidates that apply for the 5-Year Degree Programme will be required to write an aptitude test in the University.

Candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:

  • All candidates are STRICTLY advised to URGENTLY upload their O/Level results into JAMB Portal within one week using a JAMB approved CBT Center, and forward evidence of upload and Admission Status in JAMB CAPS to the Admissions Office. Note that candidates’ admission cannot be processed until proper upload of O/Level results are done. (https://www.colburnschool.edu/)

 

  • Visit the JAMB Portal and accept your admission on CAPS by clicking “Accept Admission”. Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS would not be issued JAMB Admission Letter and would be deemed as not admitted.

 

  • Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a Payment Invoice which contains a Remitta number, the invoice will enable you to make payment at the UNN Microfinance Bank Or any Commercial Bank.

 

  • With the Payment Invoice, candidates requested to pay Thirty Thousand Naira Only (N30, 000.00) acceptance fee. Ensure that the Invoice number is keyed in appropriately at the Bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice number.

Dear UNN Technology Advancement Program ( UNTAP),

 

We are extremely happy to invite you to the virtual SAP Young Thinkers Learning Festival 2021, July 27 & 28. We will connect students from all over the world to discover and expand their digital literacy, learn about coding and foster creativity. Under the theme “Uncover Your Superpower” students will get inspired to find their personal superpower and experiment with it in workshops with SAP applications, Snap! and other highlights.

 

The learning festival will be celebrated on July 27 & 28, 2021, right before the start of the Snap!Con 2021. We start both days at 8 am PDT/ 11 am EST/ 5 pm CEST and will have a great program for 3 hours each day.

 

We suggest participants to be at least 14 years old and comfortable with basic English to feel good about the learning content.
