Computer Based Exam (CBE) For MTH 111
Date: Monday 23rd June 2025.
Time: 8:00am – 3:00pm
Venue: Nnamdi Azikiwe Library and CDEL, UNN and UNEC 
Nature of exam: 23 multiple choice questions to be answered in 40 minutes

Instructions
1. ALL Students are to come into the test venue with only their PEN and plain sheet.
2. NO HANDSETS, CALCULATORS OR OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES, HANDKERCHIEFS, COURSE REGISTRATION PRINTOUT OR ANY OTHER PAPER are allowed in the exam hall.
3. Descent dressing is required.
4. The CB Test will be taken in BATCHES due to the limited number of computers available at the
library.
5. All students are EXPECTED TO ARRIVE AT THE VENUE of the examination at least one (1)
hour before their scheduled start time for biometric verification, checking and proper
placement.
6. Students are expected to be attentive and alert to hear when their batch is been called to take the
test. Each Batch will be closed or locked after 10 mins to create room for students of the next
batch.
7. Students should make sure they are available to take the test when their batch is called upon to take
the test as those who MISSED their batch will NOT be allowed to WRITE IN ANOTHER
BATCH.
8. If your department is not in the ‘Department’ column, you belong to or will write under ‘others’
under BATCH 7 at CDEL.
9. Paper for rough work will not be provided at the entrance of the examination hall. Write your
name/reg.no/Dept/signature on the rough plain sheet and submit at the end as it is the
attendance to the examination, otherwise no result.
10. If you are 10 minutes late to your batch starting time you won’t be allowed into the test hall.
This means that you missed the test and will score zero on the test.
11. There’s no mop up exam. Make all the necessary efforts to clear all issues that will stop
you from taking the test.
12. Learn how to refresh your browser before the exam. Sometimes the question appears in
LaTex syntax (like code), just refresh your browser to fix the problem.
13. Please, check the department that is showing on your portal; that is where you will write.
CA Submission Instruction
 All class rep or course rep should submit all collected CA to their respective lecturers on or before
3 pm, Monday 30th June, 2025.
 If your class is borrowing the course, appoint a class rep and submit through him.
 All students should submit through their class/course rep, make sure you signed the class list with
your class/course rep to indicate that you submitted.
 Any CA that is not submitted at the stipulated time (3 pm, Monday 30th June, 2025) will be
graded/marked as zero (0).
 No late submission is allowed (this include external/overstay and amnesty students).
 If for any reason you will miss or forget submitting your CA, submit before the exam.
 Steps for collecting and submitting the CA by class reps:
(i) Everyone that submit CA should sign the class list
(ii) Arrange the CAs alphabetically by last names
(iii) Arrange the receipts alphabetically as well
(iv) Put all the CAs in a bag and write your department name
(v) Submit to your lecturer.
(vi) If your department borrowed the course, submit to the lecturer teaching your faculty.
