CELEBRATING THE INTERNATIONAL OPEN ACCESS WEEK, 2025

Theme: “Who Owns Our Knowledge?”

The Nnamdi Azikiwe Library (NAL) joins the world in celebrating the International Open Access Week, 2025 which is geared towards finding the answer to the question: “who owns our knowledge”? This question aims to encourage discussions about control over knowledge production in the current context.

Why Open Access Week?

The Open Access annual event is organized to raise awareness about open access and promote it as a norm in scholarship and research. It is also an opportunity for academic and research community to continue to learn about the potential benefits of Open Access, and lots more.
