Brief profile of members:
- Dr Ngozi Eunice Osadebe is a Deputy University Librarian at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). She is a certified member of the Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). She is married with children. She won the Prof. M.I Ajibero Award for the best PhD thesis from Nigerian Library Schools in 2016 and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka excellent performance award in 2017. Ngozi is the South East Geopolitical zone representative of the AuthorAid National Research Hub, Nigeria, and a fellow of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Martha Farrell Foundation.Ngozi believe in the capability of libraries to transform communities. Based on this belief, she organizes library programs that can empower individuals with the skill to end poverty, fight hunger, deepen knowledge, attain good health, reduce inequalities, and mitigate climate change. She was a volunteer and secretary, at the Children’s Centre Library, UNN, 2002 -2016, and the Chairman from 2017-2022. She has published 4 book chapters and 52 journal articles.Ngozi is a founding member and Coordinator of Surplus People in the Universities Research Group (SPURG), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and the Director of Literacy for Sustainable Living Nigeria, (an NGO whose aim is to equip individuals with the skill to make informed decisions). She organizes the Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, UNN, and Surplus People in the Universities Research Group (SPURG), Art and Feminism English Wikipedia edit-a-thon. It is her dream to see a world in which librarians are active, transforming societies through information provision.

- Nwafor Michael Chigozie is a Senior Librarian, he holds Diploma in Adult Education and Community Development, BSc in Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science, Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLS) and currently a doctoral student. He is a volunteer librarian for the students with disabilities in UNN. He is the Secretary of the Surplus People in the University Research Group (SPURG. Mr Mike as he is fondly called by colleagues is an academic staff working in Cataloguing Section of Nnamdi Azikiwe Library as a lecturer, and cataloguer. His research interests include cyber librarianship, library administration/management, manual and online cataloguing. He teaches undergraduates and masters’ students manual and online cataloguing, he equally teaches fresh men and women library user education. He has worked in different sections of the library. He was a former Special Assistant to the University Librarian.

- Liziana Nnenna Onuigbo is a Reader in the Department of Education Foundations, University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she teaches Special Needs Education. She holds M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in Special Education from the University of Nigeria in 1997 and 2008 respectively. She won the Vice Chancellor’s Prize as the best graduating Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. 2008. Her areas of interest are assistive technologies for Special Needs Persons, and studies on visual impairment and mental health. Dr Onuigbo belongs to a number of international and national academic bodies. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students of the university and has published about 70 articles in reputable national and international journals Onuigbo Liziana has participated in several UNICEF-sponsored research activities with impressive results and has served as a resource person to several Millennium Development Goals Capacity building programs for teachers. She has served as a lead paper presenter at conferences.

- Mrs Beatrice O Ewa is a Librarian at Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has a Post Graduate Diploma Certificate from the Department of Library and Information Science. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the same Department. - Ezi Onwuka Njoku is a Librarian. She works at the University Library. She is the librarian in charge of the Physical Challenged Section. She has the following academic qualifications: NCE in Biology/Chemistry; (1985-1988), B.Sc. in Education /Chemistry (1991 – 1998), M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry (2001 – 2004), MLS in Library and Information Science (2005 – 2011) and is She is a member of the Nigerian Library Association- NLA and Children’s Library Committee, UNN.
- Adizetu Ali is presently a Librarian with Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She holds a B.Sc, M.Ed and a Doctoral Degree in Library and Information Science, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has published in local and international journals. Ali is a woman of dual profession. As a teacher, she has taught and guided many school children. She was also a long-time examiner with the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) for many years. As a librarian, Ali has been actively involved in professional issues, both in the main Library [Nnamdi Azikiwe Library] and in the Faculty of Education Library respectively, UNN. As the Faculty Librarian she worked assiduously in educating library clients, teaching students on industrial training experience, and lectures the course [Introduction to Information Literacy skills and Use of Library]. She is a library consultant to the Department of Food Science and Technology in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She encourages those under her through mentoring and daily demonstration of professional behaviour. Ali maintains appropriate relations with her colleagues and library users. - Mrs Chioma C. Onoh hails from Akama Amankwo Ngwo in Udi local government area of Enugu State, Nigeria. She is a senior Librarian. She works at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is a founding member and financial secretary of the Surplus People in the Universities Research Group. Chioma is presently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is the Secretary Junior Staff Appraisal Committee since 2018-date. - Emmanuel Chukwunweike Nwangwu is a Senior lecturer and the current Head, Department of Computer and Robotics Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has over 12 years teaching experience in higher education. His areas of specialization include Computer Programming & Audio-Visual (Multimedia) Design and Productions. Dr. Nwangwu is the Media and Publicity Secretary, Local Management Committee of Erasmus Mundus Mobility Programme, Erasmus+ KA 107, and the Intra-Africa AFRICOM Project in his institution. He is also the current National Vice President of Computer Educators Association of Nigeria (CEAN) and Member, UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Forum as well as belonged to various academic research groups. His research interests include E-learning, Multimedia Technologies, ICT, Courseware design and development and Robotics. - OKWOR ROSELINE NGOZI was born in Ohom-Orba, Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu state on July 25, 1973. She bagged a Bachelor of Science Degree (Bsc.) and a master’s degree in library and Information Science from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has a keen interest in ICT application in Cataloguing of Library resources. Roseline has a rich store of skills in Cataloguing and Classification. She has published many articles in reputable journals. Her area of interest in research is cataloguing & classification, and traditional ethics. She is a member of the Nigerian library Association (NLA) and Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU). She is a registered member of the Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria. She is a volunteer Roseline takes pleasure in visiting public primary schools in Nsukka with the aim of helping them to organize their collections.
