Brief Profiles Of The Researchers:
Prof. Chinyere Loretta Ngonebu is a seasoned researcher, who has published widely in several reputable national and international journals, in addition to other significant literary works which have been beneficial in English language pedagogy. She has supervised myriad of undergraduate and postgraduate students and has mentored several young researchers in early and mid-career explorations in linguistics. She studied English as a second language at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and her highest qualification is PhD, with focus on Applied Linguistics.

Dr Goodluck Chinenye Kadiri, is an avid scholar of Applied Linguistics and a past Co-ordinator of the The Use of English Unit, School of General studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she has impacted young researchers positively. She has authored and co-authored several notable books and articles in language teaching and learning. She has a PhD in Applied Linguistics. Other areas of her research interest include, English as a Second Language and Discourse Analysis.

Dr. Basil O. Nwokolo is an erudite researcher of English Language scholarship. He holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and is a Senior Lecturer with the
Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. By his wealth of experience, Dr. Nwokolo has supervised a considerable number
of Postgraduate thesis and has published articles and books nationally and internationally. He was a past Coordinator of The Use of English Unit from the year, 2020 to 2022 and in the capacity, organized notable research projects for the unit. His area of interest is on Applied Linguistics.

Dr Akogwu James Abah lectures with the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dr. Abah, as a renowned scholar has many years of teaching experience and has published widely in national and international distinguished journals, besides co-authored books. He is an editor to several journals, a visiting lecturer and an external examiner to several institutions in Nigeria. He has PhD as his highest qualification and his areas of interest are Applied Linguistics, Cultural Discourse, Language Education and Sociolinguistics.

Onyinyechi Blessing Udoumoh is a young curious researcher who holds a B.A. in Combined Arts (History and English), a Master of Arts degree in English Language (Pragmatics) and currently a PhD student of English and Literary Studies in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is a lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Her research interests span Discourse Analysis, Cultural and Socio-political Discourse Studies and Pragmatics.
