EJIOFOR, TOOCHUKWU ELEAZAR
CENTRE FOR TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TRAINING AND RESEARCH (CETVETAR), UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA, NSUKKA.

Ejiofor Toochukwu Eleazar is a lecturer in Department of Vocational Teacher Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka. He possesses the following qualifications: B.Sc (Agricultural Education) 2002 (1st class Honours and the best graduating student, Department of Vocational Teacher Education University of Nigeria); M.Ed (Agricultural Education) 2007 and he is currently pursuing PhD Degree in the same field at University of Nigeria.
Toochukwu is a member of Nigerian Vocational Association (NVA), Nigerian Educational Research Association (NERA), World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI), African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS) and Associate member African institute for Applied Economics (AIAE). He is also a certified Teacher of Teachers Registration council of Nigeria .He has attended various conferences and capacity building workshops and has publications to his credit.

 

He has served in various university  committees and participated in organising local and international conferences and workshops especially the science and Technology Education Post Basic (STEP-B) World Bank assisted project. He also participated in the development of Basic and Post-Basic Education  curriculum modules for pre- vocational and vocational subjects for out of school (market/mechanic village school) programme in south eastern states of Nigeria funded by Education Trust Fund (ETF). Recently, he served as a resource person in up – skilling TVET Teachers programme held at Kaduna Polytechnic Kaduna, organized by Centre for Technical Vocational Education Training and Research (CETVETAR)

His research interests are in area of information and communication technologies training, vocational training in informal and non formal sector, environmental studies and indigenous technologies.
