BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Stella Ngozi Onwubiko is a Senior lecturer and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with over fourteen years of combined academic, clinical, and research experience in Ophthalmology. A seasoned glaucoma specialist and public health eye care expert, she is dedicated to advancing excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
Dr. Onwubiko obtained her MBBS from Abia State University, before completing residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Nigeria Hospital. She holds fellowships from the west Africa College of Surgeons (FWACS) The National postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCOph) and the international Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). She has also completed prestigious glaucoma fellowships at Mayo Clinic (USA) and Aravind Eye Hospital ( India) as well as an MSc in public Health for Eye care from the London school of Hygiene and tropical Medicine, funded by the commomwealth Eye Health Consortium and GSK.
Her research spans glaucoma, Ocular surface disorder, public health Ophthalmology, and barriers to eye care.

Dr. Ezike Chinenye
Dr. Chinenye J. Ezike is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku- Ozolla, Enugu, Nigeria. She completed her Ophthalmology residency training at the same institution in May 2022.
Her Clinical and research interests span Ocular Oncology, Oculoplastic surgery, corneal disease and ocular research. Dr. Ezike’s research activities focus on improving diagnostic approaches, treatment options and long- term care for patient with ocular tumors Ocular surface disease and conditions requiring Oculoplastic intervention.
She is committed to evidence – based Ophthalmic practice and brings a strong- interdisciplinary orientation, patient cantered perspective and a growing Portfolio of clinical research engagement.
Dr. Amadi Obiora
Dr Amadi Obiora is a Nigeria – trained medical doctor and Ophthalmologist -in-training with extensive clinical experience across multiple tertiary and private health institutions. He obtained his MBBS degree from the University of NIGERIA Nsukka in 2023, after which he completed his houseman ship at ESUT Teaching Hospital, Parklane, Enugu.
Since February 2018, he has served as a Resident Doctor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Ituku-Ozalla, where he is actively involved in clinical ophthalmic services, resident training, departmental outreach, and Hospital committees. His work reflects strong communication skills, diligence, professionalism, and commitment to service.
