  • Production of Bioplastics from polyhydroxybutyrate accumulating bacteria.
  • Development of a microbial consortia for polyethylene degradation.
  • Quantifying the biodiversity drivers of the forests in the South East region.
  • Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of plastics and food wastes

Prof. Anene Moneke

He is a professor of industrial and environmental microbiology, in the department of Microbiology, UNN. He is also the current Director of the Centre for Environmental Management and Control, UNN.

He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and an M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry. He is a lecturer in the Department of Nuclear Chemistry at UNN. His research interests include Bioenergy, Bioprocess, Energy Conservation Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Food Chemistry, and Green Chemistry.

  • Stanley Nwoke

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, and a M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry. He is a Laboratory Technologist and Chemical Analyst at the Central Science Laboratory, UNN.
