ABSTRACT:
An acute outbreak of Raillietina tetragons, infection was observed in adult guineafowls. Clinical signs were droopiness, diarrhoea, emaciation and death. The walls of the intestines were severely thickened and the intestinal lumen contained much mucous exudate and many immature tapeworms. The birds recovered within a few days of treatment with fenbendazole.
