UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA 

For the first time in the history of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, history is being made as the 15^th Vice-Chancellor is unveiled to the University Community. He is Professor Charles Arizechukwu Igwe – a Soil Scientist.

Before his appointment, Professor Igwe was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration). He had served out his 1^st 2-year term and was in his second term as the DVC (Admin) when the Governing Council of the University of Nigeria, after a rigorous screening, appointed him the 15^th Vice-Chancellor.

The University Community, the general public and all stakeholders are cordially invited to the unveiling of the 15^th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10 am at Ekpo Convocation Arena.

It promises to be colourful, historic and memorable.
