The generation of Intellectual Properties (IPs) which include patents, trademarks, designs, and copyrights stand at the forefront of the activities that place a University on world-class relevance. All concerned stakeholders, especially, the researchers and inventors stand to gain immensely from IP generation and commercialization. Such benefits range from financial proceeds from their IPs to Industrial linkages and royalties.

The Vice Chancellor hereby hosts the Intellectual Property and Research Commercialization workshop to afford all participants the opportunity to grasp fully the concept of IP generation in the University setting, the processes involved in research output commercialization, as well as hands-on training on the patenting process.

 Concept Note:

Given the recent enlisting of the University of Nigeria as a centre for In-region/In-Country German Academics Exchange Service (DAAD), and Malaria consortium Postgraduate Scholarships, the School of Postgraduate Studies in collaboration with the above stakeholders is organizing an orientation programme for allforeign scholars of the DAAD , TRECCA-ACCAI and Malaria Consortium programme.

It is designed to acquaint the students with the rules, regulations and operations of the School of Postgraduate Studies in particular and the University in general.The students will also be exposed to some generic skills on research and interpersonal relationships.Theorientationprogramme will serve as a proactive effort to spur the foreign students to achieve the expected high levels of success while avoiding problems,mistakes and regrets that might result from ignorance and uninformedness. JAMB UTME 2018 REGISTRATION

The University of Nigeria wishes to bring to the notice of the University community and general public that the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has directed that the registration of candidates for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) should be done only by JAMB accredited registration centres.

University of Nigeria, Nsukka has four (4) JAMB accredited registration centres located in the Zenith ICT Centre Nsukka and ILN ICT Centre UNEC.

The registration for the Jamb UTME 2018 has commenced. The venue for the registration exercise is as follows:
