UNN SCREENING REGISTRATION UPDATE
This is to inform all prospective students that the University administration has extended the closing date of the ongoing Screening registration to midnight on Monday 23rd July, 2018.
This is to enable students who failed to register do so before the forthcoming screening examination.
Any students who fails to register by Midnight of Monday 23rd July 2018 will not be allowed to register again.

2018/2019 SCREENING EXERCISE FOR ADMISSION
This is to inform the general public that the University of Nigeria Post-UTME screening test will commence on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 and end on Wednesday 1st, August 2018.
Registration exercise for the Post-UTME screening exercise will start on 5th July 2018 and end on 19th July 2018 on the University Portal
Prospective students who made UNN their first choice and scored 180 and above should apply on the Portal as from 5th July.
Prospective Visually impaired students who made UNN their first choice and scored 120 and above should also apply on the Portal as from 5th July.
Direct Entry Screening is scheduled on the 1st, August 2018.
Mop-up for Post-UTME is scheduled to take place on 1st August 2018.
Please endeavor to arrive at the venue 2 hours before your screening for accreditation.
A fully detailed timetable for the Post-UTME screening tests will be published on the UNN website later.
Comprehensive information will be published on Thursday 5th July in The Sun and Guardian Newspapers.
Information on 2018/2019 Screening Exercise for Admission
The University of Nigeria hereby invites candidates who had the UNN as their first choice in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above for screening exercise.
- Online Registration
- Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial bank.
- The online registration commences on Thursday July 5, 2018 and ends on Thursday July 19, 2018. UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday July 23, 2018 and end on Tuesday July 31, 2018.

- Click Prospective Students
- Select Online Application Form for 2018/2019 Admission Screening Exercise
- Enter JAMB Registration Number

- Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields

APPLICATION FOR INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER – 2018/2019 ACADEMIC SESSION
- GUIDELINES
- Transfer students shall possess the minimum University of Nigeria and Departmental entry requirements prior to entry into the University from where they are seeking transfer.
- Transfer students shall make a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.95 on a 5.00 point scale to qualify for consideration and should not have spent more than two (2) academic sessions in his or her former University.
- The number of students offered admission by transfer shall not exceed 4% of the departmental admission quota in any one year.
- Application should be accompanied by student’s transcript. University of Nigeria official(s) would be sent to the University from where transfer is being sought for verification of the transcript or on-line verification as the case may be.
- If at any stage irregularity is discovered in the papers presented by the student(s), such student(s) shall be withdrawn from the University.
- Disciplinary action shall be taken against any officer of the University found colluding with or circumventing the process of the transfer.
- A transfer student is required to possess a JAMB score which is not less than the minimum score of UNN students admitted into his department in his admission year.
- He must transfer into the same course as he studied in his University.
- Transfer student must not be admitted beyond second (2nd) year for all programmes in the University.
- A transfer student must be a current student of the University from which he seeks transfer.
- All application for inter-University transfer for the 2018/2019 academic session should be received on or before 31st August, 2018.
- All recommendations for admission by transfer from Faculty shall be submitted to the Admissions Office for collation and presentation to Senate Entrance Board for consideration.
- APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your Telephone Number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for Application Processing Fee. Pay the application fee of N195,000.00 (one hundred and ninety five thousand naira) through Remita payment platform at any Commercial Bank. You are to generate a payment invoice which contains a Remita number; the invoice print out will enable you to make your payment at the bank.
- Visit the University of Nigeria website or portal (www.unn.edu.ng or unnportal.edu.ng) again and log in your Telephone and Invoice Numbers, and then complete the Inter-University Transfer Form online.
- Print the form and forward to your current University Registrar for completion of last page to confirm release from your current University. The release form should be forward to the Registrar, University of Nigeria, Nsukka by your current Registrar.
- Candidates should note that any form which is not completed on-line will not be processed.
Online application commences on Monday, 16th July, 2018 and ends on Friday, 31st August, 2018.

In keeping with the ethical transformation policy vision and direction of the 14th Vice Chancellor Professor Benjamin Ozumba, the Directorate of Strategic Contact, Ethics and Publications (STRACEP),through the Vice Chancellor’s approval, is organizing a one day public lecture titled: “From soiled Hand to Oiled Mouth: Ethics, leadership and entrepreneurship in Contemporary Nigeria” with the keynote paper presentation by Professor Damian Opata of English and Literary Studies Department, University of Nigeria. Other renowned national speakers are also featuring on the card. For example, the INTERPOL Contact for Nigeria, Sir Udensi Chikwe, Ugwumba, will be speaking on : ”Ethics and leadership: Challenges of Security in Nigeria”. It’s another ethical show of values, strategic direction for Leadership and entrepreneurship for Nigeria.
The Governor of Enugu State His Excellency, Right Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, is the special guest of Honor who will talk on “ethical governance of Enugu State” while Chief Nnia Nwodo, IKE UKEHE, President Ohaneze Ndigbo,is expected also. This is to inform the general public that the University of Nigeria Post-UTME screening test will commence on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 and end on Wednesday 1st, August 2018.
Registration exercise for the Post-UTME screening exercise will start on 5th July 2018 and end on 19th July 2018 on the University Portal
Prospective students who made UNN their first choice and scored 180 and above should apply on the Portal as from 5th July.
Prospective Visually impaired students who made UNN their first choice and scored 120 and above should also apply on the Portal as from 5th July.
Direct Entry Screening is scheduled on the 1st, August 2018.
Mop-up for Post-UTME is scheduled to take place on 1st August 2018.
Please endeavor to arrive at the venue 2 hours before your screening for accreditation.

Postgraduate Workshop for postgraduate students who were admitted in 2017/2018 session and others who missed the last postgraduate workshop are invited to Register for 2018 Workshop as follows:
- July 13, 2018 – Registration begins
- September7, 2018 – Registration ends
- Workshop Fee = N5,000.00 + N1,000.00 (ICT Handling Charge) =N6,000.00
A Total of Six Thousand Naira only payable through the Remita Platform from any Commercial Bank.
Admitted Students who have paid their school fees and obtained Registration Number (Reg. No) are qualified to participate by logging on to www.unn.edu.ng and follow the procedures stated below:

2018/2019 SCREENING EXERCISE FOR ADMISSION
This is to inform the general public that the University of Nigeria Post-UTME screening test will commence on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 and end on Wednesday 1st, August 2018.
Registration exercise for the Post-UTME screening exercise will start on 5th July 2018 and end on 19th July 2018 on the University Portal
Prospective students who made UNN their first choice and scored 180 and above should apply on the Portal as from 5th July.
Prospective Visually impaired students who made UNN their first choice and scored 120 and above should also apply on the Portal as from 5th July.
Direct Entry Screening is scheduled on the 1st, August 2018.
Mop-up for Post-UTME is scheduled to take place on 1st August 2018.
Please endeavor to arrive at the venue 2 hours before your screening for accreditation.
A fully detailed timetable for the Post-UTME screening tests will be published on the UNN website later.

Information on 2018/2019 Screening Exercise for Admission
The University of Nigeria hereby invites candidates who had the UNN as their first choice in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above for screening exercise.
- Online Registration
- Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial bank.
- The online registration commences on Thursday July 5, 2018 and ends on Thursday July 19, 2018. UTME screening exercise will commence on Tuesday July 23, 2018 and end on Tuesday July 31, 2018.

Postgraduate Workshop for postgraduate students who were admitted in 2017/2018 session and others who missed the last postgraduate workshop are invited to Register for 2018 Workshop as follows:
- July 13, 2018 – Registration begins
- September7, 2018 – Registration ends
- Workshop Fee = N5,000.00 + N1,000.00 (ICT Handling Charge) =N6,000.00
A Total of Six Thousand Naira only payable through the Remita Platform from any Commercial Bank.
Admitted Students who have paid their school fees and obtained Registration Number (Reg. No) are qualified to participate by logging on to www.unn.edu.ng and follow the procedures stated below:
- Click on UNN Portal or through this link unnportal.unn.edu.ng
- Click on Postgraduate Students and Generate Invoice for PGC 601 and 701
- Use your Registration Number to generate the invoice
- Proceed to any Bank with Remita platform for payment.
