Notice of cancellation – Virtual Interactive Session for Deanship Candidates

Notice of cancellation – Virtual Interactive Session for Deanship Candidates

Notice of cancellation – Virtual Interactive Session for Deanship Candidates

We regrettably wish to notify the University community that the earlier scheduled virtual interactive session for Deanship Candidates to interact with their Faculty members is hereby cancelled.

Unfortunately, the goal of the virtual session which is to help Deanship candidates interact with Faculty members that are kept away by COVID-19 lockdown was misconstrued.

This was an innovation that the ICT Unit thought would have been apt in the current situation.

Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, particularly to the Deanship Candidates who had earlier expressed their interest in the virtual interactive session, candidates who intend to indicate interest, the University Administration and indeed our entire university community who may have been looking forward to the experience.

VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH DEANSHIP CANDIDATES

VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH DEANSHIP CANDIDATES

VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH DEANSHIP CANDIDATES

In view of the COVID-19 lockdown which has made it difficult for candidates in the forthcoming Deanship election to adequately reach out to all their Faculty members, a virtual platform has been made available to bridge this gap.
The virtual platform (video conferencing) will enable Deanship candidates to clearly state their vision/mission and mapped-out strategies in a stipulated time, after which there will be an interaction with Faculty members through the “Q & A” (Question & Answer) platform.
All Deanship candidates are hereby invited to take advantage of this virtual platform free, to reach out to their Faculty members, regardless of their geographical location.
Interested candidates are to indicate their interest by sending a very brief profile and clear picture to the following address virtualmeeting@unn.edu.ng on or before the end of business on Tuesday 23rd June 2020.
Note: Only those whose submissions are received within the stipulated period will be scheduled to participate. Faculty members will also receive invitation to interact live with the candidates
All enquiries should be sent to virtualmeeting@unn.edu.ng
