UNN Receives Four Patents For Innovation Research Output Performance

The University of Nigeria has received four Patents following the innovative research outputs of some of her lecturers.

 The patents were handed over to Dr. Damian C. Odimegwu, Director, Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) of the University of Nigeria by the Honourable Minister, Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu at the just concluded award ceremony organised by the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP), held in Abuja on Monday, December 10, 2018.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba was grateful on the level of research innovations of the University of Nigeria’s staff and encourages other staff to labour assiduously to procure patent for their various research outputs.
