Brief Biography
Omenma J. Tochukwu is a Research Fellow at the Institute of African Studies. His research interests include African Politics,He holds academic degrees of Political Science with specialties in Government and Comparative Politics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He teaches African Politics; African Political and Social Thoughts; and Research Methodology at the post-graduate level. He has published papers in several international journals, presented papers in international conferences, workshops and seminars. He has been awarded a number of research grants from major funding agencies: UNESCO, DFID Nigeria, DFID London, and Federal Government of Nigeria scholarship for his Masters’ Degree Programme. He is the author of Wage, Productivity, and Living Conditions of Workers in Nigeria (2011), co-author of Aspects of Igbo Heritage (2009) and co-edited Readings of African Studies (2010). His is areview editor of SOCIOLOGY TODAYof David Publishing Company Chicago, United StatesIKENGA and IKORO journals of Institute of African Studies.
