PHYTOCHEMISTRY AND PHYTOMEDICINES FORMULATION RESEARCH GROUP
FOCUS: To isolate new bioactive molecules from natural sources; develop standardized herbal products as a new drug candidates or Positive Health promoters (PHP’s); create an enriched repository of chemical maker compounds by isolating a large number of molecules to be used for chemoprofiling of the medicinal plants/formulations containing them and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for standardization of single/polyherbal formulations.
