OBJECTIVES OF THE RESEARCH GROUP
The specific objectives of ECSDRG include the following:
1. To identify viable entrepreneurial sectors needing computing skills
2. To fashion out effective methods of translating computing knowledge into practical skills.
3. To develop a pool of computing skill sets backed up with corresponding entrepreneurial know-how and drive to grow small to medium scale enterprises.
4. To develop students/youths that can grow startup computing companies with little assistances.
5. To assist in the growth and nurturing of University of Nigeria computing enterprises.

ON-GOING RESEARCH
1. Development of a framework for managing the administration of departments using Sysaid ticketing software.
2. Identification of Multimedia skill needs of Lecturers for effective instructional delivery.

PLAN OF ACTION
STAGE 1
Identification of viable entrepreneurial sectors needing computing skills. This can be done through surveys, interviews etc
STAGE 2
Determining suitable and effective methods of translating computing knowledge into practical skills. This stage will involve experimental research designs.
STAGE 3
Developing a pool of computing skill sets backed up with corresponding entrepreneurial know-how to grow enterprises. Research and Development design will be adopted in this stage.
