BATCH “C” 2026 NYSC MOBILIZATION
In preparation for the National Youth Service Corps mobilization of Prospective Corps Members for its 2026 Batch “C” exercise, all candidates whose names are on the Approved University of Nigeria Senate List – Batches A and B 2026 (both Full-Time and Sandwich), should cross-check the list attached to this memorandum for errors in their Names, Date of Graduation and other Particulars. Also all outstanding candidates that have issues with their Jamb Registration Numbers and were unable to register during previous batches are required to forward their details attaching their Statement of Result and Jamb Admission Letter to Careers and Students’ Services or to the email address stated below. Those that have done it before should also cross-check the attached list for errors in Names, Date of Graduation and other Particulars.
Please note that any discrepancy in your details after upload to NYSC portal whether on your Statement of Result, Names or Date of graduation, will not allow you to register in NYSC Orientation Camp. You are specifically advised to cross-check your particulars very carefully and make sure that the name on your JAMP CAPS is the same with the name on your Statement of Result. Students whose Statement of Result are no longer valid are advised to visit Examinations Unit for rectification. Also, it is important that you confirm your name from the JAMB matriculation list. Only candidates whose names are on this list (JAMB matriculation list) are recognized as bona-fide students from various accredited institution. By implication, if your name is not on this list – JAMB matriculation list, your application to NYSC scheme for the one year National Service shall be declined.
More so, the National Identification Number (NIN) is now a requirement for online registration by Prospective Corps Members. Therefore ensure that your name in NIN corresponds with your name on the Statement of Result. PCMs are also requested to get their NERD (Nigeria Education Repository and Databank) clearance before proceeding to NYSC orientation camps because you will not be registered in NYSC orientation camps if you do not have the NERD clearance.
All errors, omissions or otherwise must be reported to the undersigned for immediate correction before the list is finally uploaded to the NYSC Portal.
