ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND DURATION:

 

4 – YEAR DEGREE SANDWICH PROGRAMMES (FOUR YEAR DURATION)

 

University of Nigeria offers a 4-Year Sandwich Degree Programme for holders of Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) and National Diploma (ND).

 

Candidates seeking for admission into the four-year standard degree programme must possess:

 

i          a minimum of Merit in NCE in the relevant area from a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria and five (5) O’ Level Credit Passes which must include English Language and a Science Subject in not more than two sitting.

OR

ii         a minimum of merit in National Diploma in a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria and five (5) O’ Level Credit Passes which must include English Language and a Science Subject in not more than two sittings.

 

5-YEAR DEGREE SANDWICH PROGRAMME (FIVE YEAR DURATION)

 

The University offers a Five Year Sandwich Degree Standard Programme for holders of WASSCE/GCE/NECO, NABTEB, Teachers Grade II Certificate, National Diploma (ND) and the Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE).

 

Candidates seeking for admission into the five year standard degree programme must possess:

 

  1. five (5) O’ Level Credit Passes in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/ NABTEB, TCII which must include English Language and a Science Subject in not more than two sittings.
  2. Pass in ND and five (5) O’ Level Credit Passes in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, TCII which must include English Language and a Science Subject in not more than two sittings.
  • Pass in NCE and five (5) O’ Level Credit Passes in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, TCII which must include English Language and a Science Subject in not more than two sittings.

 

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

 

  1. All candidates who wish to apply for the programmes listed above should purchase the 2026 JAMB Form available at any JAMB CBT Approved Centre and Make the University of Nigeria, Nsukka their first choice institution.
  2. Visit the University of Nigeria Website/portal: www.unn.edu.ng., https://unnportal.unn.edu.ng and generate “Sandwich Registration Invoice”.
  3. Proceed to any Commercial Bank to pay the processing fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5000) naira only for a four year standard degree programme or (N10,000) naira only for a five year standard degree programme, through the Remitta Platform.
  4. Visit the University portal again and click on Sandwich Registration to complete the on-line verification form.
  5. Print the complete form and proceed to the Office of the Registrar, Sandwich and Evening Programmes Unit to submit it along with the credentials.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

 

  1. Application for Sandwich Admission into the University is made through this process alone
  2. Candidates are not expected to sit for the 2026 JAMB Examination
