RESEARCH FOCUS
 
The Intellectual Property Law research group will focus on research in introductory and advanced intellectual property (IP) and technology law. It will scrutinise the policies affecting intellectual property and technology law in Nigeria. Research will border on a wide range of topics from the protection of copyright, inventions, products, trademarks, creative works and designs to the global policy surrounding the law. The research group will explore certain areas of the law which are fairly untouched in Nigeria. It will look into positioning Nigeria for the promotion of National development – Agriculture, Employment, Health care, pharmaceuticals, compulsory licence and how they affect the Nigerian society.
