Chukwuone Chiamaka is a Home Economics lecturer in the University of Nigeria Nsukka . She holds a B.SC and an M. ED in Home Economics Education and was the best graduating student in both programmes. She is presently pursing a PhD. in Home Economics education at the University of Nigeria Nsukka.
Chiamaka is a young academic that in interested in equipping individuals with skills for self reliance and sustainability. Her research interest is in numerous fields especially in areas of Human and Community development.
Chiamaka has attended and participated in many conferences and workshops including acting as resource person in the Train –the- Trainer workshop of the Centre of Excellence in Technical and Vocational Education Training and Research, a STEP-B  and World Bank assisted Project. She has published in many reputable journals and is a member of many professional associations. These include the Home Economics Research Association of Nigeria (HERAN), Home Economics Research Association of Ghana (HERAG) , Home Economics Council of Nigeria (HECON),OMEP, National Association of Women Academics, Nigerian Vocational Association, among others. Chiamaka is a Nigerian and is married with two children.
