Assistant Lecturer

I lecture in the Department of Computer & Robotics Education. Specifically, I:

 Teach at undergraduate and sandwich level in areas allocated by the Head of Department.

 Carry out research projects and produce publications, or other research outputs.

 Engage with the broader scholarly and professional communities.

 Supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate and sandwich students. Also provide support

and care to students.

 Assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to

monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.

 Participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments and also

in departmental and faculty seminars.

 Participate in the administration of the department’s programmes of study and other activities as

requested.

 Contribute to departmental and faculty working groups or committees as requested.

Data Analyst

I worked in the IT department as a data analyst. During this period, I:

 Collected, compiled and analyzed data from databases with the use of SQL language and performed

statistical analyses based on the information needs of the client.

 Drafted and prepared standard and/or informal reports.

 Created, designed and modified reports with the aid of some reporting tools to help clients in their

decision making.

 Analyzed client requests and provided guidance and technical assistance on obtaining accurate

information from their database.

 Developed and/or maintained and enhanced existing databases and reports.

 Performed regular maintenance and also provided support for workers with less knowledge of

databases.
