Dr. Anthonia Nwakaego Ngwoke is a childhood educator in the Childhood Education Unit of the Department of Educational Foundations, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dr Ngwoke hails from Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria and was born on 20th Day of January, 1967. Dr Ngwoke, prior to her appointment as an academic staff of the University, was a dedicated classroom teacher with PPSMB, Enugu State Nigeria, and subsequently a Senior Assistant Registrar in this University. Dr Ngwoke holds to her credit: B.Sc and M. Ed (Ind Tech. Ed), and Ph.D (Childhood Education) all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she served in many university wide committees. She is a childhood advocate and her research interest revolves around life skills development and behavior modification in young children. Currently, she is a member of some professional association which includes: Association of Childhood Educators, Nigeria; Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria; and World Organization for the Education of Preschool Children (OMEP). Dr Ngwoke has attended a number of academic conferences and workshops and has a number of academic publications to her credit. She is married with children. Dr Ngwoke is involved in the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and supervision of M. Ed students’ projects. She is also a member of the Examination Committee of the Department.
