Dr (Mrs) Vicky Onu lectures in the Department of Educational Foundation, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has two Masters degrees in Educational Psychology, Specializing in Childhood Education and Special Education Respectively, and a Ph.D in Special Education.
A Fulbright Scholar to Florida International University, USA in 1997-1998 and a partner to Hafford Thinking and Creativity Center, USA and Shalom Schools Ltd, Nigeria, she has worked variously with children and youths both nationally and internationally. Some of her creative works on Programme Development for Gifted Learners, Thinking Skills and Creativity are only a few of her laudable projects. She is a member of the Fulbright Alumni Association of Nigeria (FAAN); Founder of Gifted and Talented, and creative Children Association of Nigeria (GITCAN); Home Economic Research Association of Nigeria (HERAN) and the Director, African Network on Creativity among others. She is currently working on children stories, children films and children magazines. She strongly believes in character Development.
