Felix Nzube Chukwuneke is a senior staff in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria Enugu Campus. He started his early academic career at the Government Secondary School Ilorin Kwara State of Nigeria with Federal Government Scholarship for academic excellence. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Nigeria, College of Medicine Enugu Campus and obtained the Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree (BDS) in 1991. He obtained the Fellow of the West African College of Surgeon qualification (FWACS) in 2006 and was appointed a lecturer 1 in the dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Chukwuneke obtained certificates in International Bioethics at the Kennedy Institute of Bioethics, Georgetown University, Washington DC and Johns Hopkins University MD all in USA. As a Forgarty/NIH scholar under South African Research Ethics Training Initiative (SARETI), he obtained MPH degree in Health Research Ethics at the University of Pretoria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal both in South Africa. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD) and also a Fellow of the International College of Maxillofacial Surgeon (FICMFS). Dr. Chukwuneke was head of the department between 2010-2012 and was promoted to Associate Professor and Reader in 2012.
