Prof. P. O. Phil-Eze of the Department of Geography, University of Nigeria, Nsukka is a professor of Biogeography and Biodiversity. His areas of research interest include biodiversity, vegetation studies, hydrology, climate change and environmental studies. He is an Executive member of Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG), and a member of International Biogeography Society (IBS), African Climate Change Adaptation Initiative (ACCAI) and Nigerian Environmental Study/Action Team (NEST) among others. He is a consultant on Environmental Impact Assessment and Biodiversity issues for Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja and Shell Petroleum and Development Company (SPDC) of Nigeria Limited. He has also authored or co-authored more than 50 technical papers and publications, including books, book chapters, and articles in reputable learned local and international journals.
