Biography :Prof. Fabian Chinemelu Okafor attended St John’s Primary School, Odoakpu, Onitsha (1956 – 1963), Government College Umudike, Umuahia (1964 – 1967), St Charles Teachers’ Training College Onitsha (1971 – 1972) and University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He rose from a graduate assistant in 1978 to Assistant lecturer in 1981 and lecturer II in 1985. He joined the Department of Statistics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Oct 1988 as a lecturer I. He became a professor of Statistics in 2004. |
