The Editorial Board of the University of Nigeria Maritime Studies and Research Journal (UNMSRJ) invites researchers, academics, practitioners, professionals, and scholars to submit original research papers for publication in the forthcoming Volume 2, Issue 1 of the Journal. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submitted manuscripts must:
Be original research work.
Not have been previously published.
Not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Adhere to the journal’s prescribed formatting and referencing style.
Comply with all submission requirements outlined in the journal’s Note to Authors.
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via email to: unmsrj@unn.edu.ng on or before the 18th of September 2026

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published papers.
The review process typically takes 2–3 weeks. Final decisions regarding publication will be based on the recommendations and feedback of the reviewers and Editorial Board.
The review decision will be communicated to the corresponding author, who will be expected to effect any required corrections promptly.

Authors should note the following fees:
Vetting Fee: ₦10,000
Publication Fee: ₦15,000 (Payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the review process and corrections have been made by author)
