The Nigeria ICT Forum is delighted to announce the University of Nigeria Nsukka as the host institution of the ngNOG 2015. The event is schedule to take place from 02nd – 07th November, 2015
The University of Nigeria (UNN) was the first full-fledged indigenous and first autonomous university in Nigeria. The University has four campuses – Nsukka (University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN), Enugu (University of Nigeria Enugu campus, UNEC), Ituku-Ozalla (University of Nigeria College of Medicine) and Aba (University of Nigeria Aba campus, UNAC).
ngNOG 2015, which also marks the 10th year anniversary of the ngNOG workshop, is scheduled to take place at the UNN, Nsukka Campus.
Nsukka is a town and Local Government Area in South-East Nigeria in Enugu State. Towns that share a common border with Nsukka, are Edem Ani, Ibagwa Ani, Opi, Orba and Ede-Oballa, Obimo. Nsukka is home to members of the Igbo ethnic group. The town also has some of the most recognized educational institutions in south-eastern Nigeria.
The Nigerian Network Operators’ Group (ngNOG) is a forum for cooperation and the exchange of technical information between operators of Internet-connected networks in Nigeria.
The Group is principally constituted by technical staff drawn from the Higher Education Institutions in Nigeria and some private sector Operators.
