Programme/Sub-Discipline Philosophy and Objectives The philosophy of the programme is to equip the students to recognize the principles and practice of Obstetrics and gynaecology and explain the patho-physiological basis and applied anatomy of pregnancy, labour, peurperium. At the end of the course, students should be able to obtain relevant history and carry out clinical examination of gynaecological and obstetrical cases, reach a working diagnosis and differential diagnosis, order relevant investigations and propose a management protocol for the patient. |
