The Department is organized and run along democratic principles through the committee system.  The Head of Department periodically summons Departmental meetings at which the senior Academic and technological staff participate in formulating policy decision, especially those affecting academic and /or practical laboratory issue.  The Department is strongly committed to staff job satisfaction and staff development, through timely recommendations for promotion and the creation of opportunities for in-services training.
