Biography :

Roseline Chinwe Onah holds a B.Sc Degree in Political Science M.Sc Public Administration, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Ph.D in Public Administration all of the university of Nigeria, Nsukka. 

She joined the services of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in July 1 1992 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to the rank of Lecturer II in 1994, Senior Lecturer in 1998 and Professor in 2006. Roseline Onah is a Professor of Public Administration with emphasis in Financial Management. Her other areas of interest and competence include local government administration, Human Resource Management, Development Studies, Gender Studies, and Nigerian Government and Politics.

Prof Onah has conducted impact researches in the areas of public financial management, local government administration, gender and development studies. She has attended over twenty-five national and international conferences/workshops where she presented papers. 

She was the Editor-in-chief of the Nigerian Journal of Public Administration and Local Government from 2007 to 2010; 2013 till date and serves in the editorial Boards of Nigerian Journal of Social Sciences, Journal of Public Administration, among others.She has participated in a number of Technical Studies, including:    UNDP/IDS/FES study on Poverty Alleviation for Rural Communities (1996) andUNDP FGN sponsored study on Capacity Assessment on Human and Institutional Resources for Planning and Management of Development at the Local Government Level in Nigeria (1997).

Others are UNDP/FGN Project on Population Studies (1997) and raining of Trainers for Elected Leadership at Local Government Level in Nigeria organized by the Federal Ministry of Intergovernmental Affairs (FMIGA) and the United Nations Habitat in 2002 and 2003.
