Dr Idike Adeline is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Public Administration and Local Government of University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She possess the degrees of B.A. Sociology (1979), M.A. Public Affairs (1981), LLB (1998) and Ph.D Public Administration (2014).
Dr. Idike Adeline joined University of Nigeria as Assistant Lecturer in 1983 and has been with the Department of Public Administration and Local Government ever since except for two stints of National Service as (i) Honourable Commissioner for Information & Culture, Ebonyi State Government; 1997-1999 and (ii) Chairman, Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC); 2001-2011.
Her fields of interest include Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Law, democracy, corruption, gender, politics, legislature and Public Administration development, etc. Dr. Idike Adeline has published in many scholarly and reputable Local and International journals. Her latest articles appeared in International Journal of Development Research, August 2015. She has contributed many book chapters, Books and Monographs including, Voter Apathy and Electoral Governance in Nigeria: the Ebonyi State Experience, Kleptocracy and Anti-corruption Strategies in Nigeria, and ECOMOG and Peace-keeping in West African Sub-region: An Examination of Selected Cases.
