1. To create and sustain an atmosphere that will make our programme extremely responsive to innovations in technology and changes in professional practice in order to equip our graduate with the necessary skills to keep abreast of professional development affecting radiographic practice.

2. To ensure that the department and the University is amongst the best in the training of Radiographers/Medical Imaging Scientist in the Country and the world by continuously improving their teaching quality through adequate motivation of staff and proper maintenance and/ or upgrading of our facilities to meet world standard.
