The Department of Medical Rehabilitation offers a five-year standard generic  Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation [B.M.R.] degree programme in Physiotherapy.  Graduates of the programme emerge as physiotherapists capable of applying scientific  and professional principles and practice to the treatment and rehabilitation of  individuals and groups of all ages in a variety of community and institutional settings.  Upon graduation, many graduates of the programme pursue further academic work in  institutions of higher learning and others provide rehabilitation services in different  health care environments.
