ESEFA Train the Trainer SAP TRAINING: SUCCESS STORY

The Enterprise System Education for Africa (ESEFA) training was held 12th – 16th December in Kumasi, Ghana, at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with six delegates from University of Nigeria Nsukka and Enugu campuses namely:

The training was aimed at introducing lecturers and other participants to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts using ESEFA materials as well as familiarizing them with all the materials and resources available through ESEFA program as well as SAP (Software Application Products) University Alliance (UA) membership. The training comprised lessons and workshops which involved hands-on with the SAP GUI which exposed participants to understanding of SAP practical application to business processes using existing business scenarios.

 

At the end of the training, there was a record of success which qualified University of Nigeria to secure her SAP Client license to enable organization of training and certifications in the University. Consequently, on 13th – 17th March, 2017, the maiden edition of the ESEFA/SAP UA ES Fundamentals training was held at University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus with about 14 participants  from within and outside Enugu state. Particularly, there were participants from Abuja and Umuahia who took part in the training. The short course was advertised via the University website, handbills and radio jingles. The exam which was held on 20th March, 2017 recorded 71% success. Subsequent batches of training and exams are coming up in May 2017 at UNEC and UNN, respectively

The second training will be held in Nsukka and Enugu campuses in May, 2017 with target participants as final year students, postgraduates and lecturers
