Department of Mechanical Engineering Accreditation Visit

The department of Mechanical Engineering will be receiving a team of accreditors in the department this week. Preparations have been going on and it is expected that at the end of the visit, the department will receive full accreditation.

The Faculty of Engineering starting from the 2008/2009 academic year will register new students in the department of materials and metallurgy engineering in addition to the already existing departments. This brings the total number of departments in the faculty to six. The department of Automotive Engineering is still in the pipeline
