At the Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, fundamental and practical issues in education are being examined by distinguished scholars who are internationally recognized. Basically, issues that concern the development of a person, the home/family, community, and national development.  

Our philosophy is based on the development of the individual into a sound and effective citizen, the full integration of the individual into the community and the provision of equal access to educational opportunities for all without any preference to race, ethnicity, culture or gender. To be in harmony with Nigeria’s national goals and remain competitive in the global market, FEUNN programmes and goals are geared towards self realization, better human relationship, individual and national efficiency, effective citizenship, national consciousness, national unity, as well as towards social, cultural, economic, political, scientific and technological progress.
